Job Description
Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
- Facilitate effective communication and promote a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
Risk Mitigation:
- Identify potential HR risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Conduct investigations into employee misconduct or policy violations as needed.
Law and Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Interpret and enforce company policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws.
- Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to address compliance issues.
Good Work Ethic:
- Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic in all interactions.
- Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Take initiative and demonstrate accountability for assigned tasks and projects.
Bilingual Spanish:
- Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish, both orally and in writing.
- Assist Spanish-speaking employees with HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Translate HR documents and materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
$75,000-$95,000
